We pushed back on Friday for the last time this season fishing out of San Diego for our COD trips south of the border down in Mexico.
The weather was warm and the offshore breeze was in effect with summer like conditions for the last voyage down the mexican coast line.
We get into the zone and winds are pushing a lil more than what NOAA called for the morning. We strapped on the gear and went right to work and on the first drift our deck boss Duane and good friend Levi connecting with BIG REDS on the first stone we set up on for the morning.
We picked away for a good 3 hours with limits of straight reds and it was time to call it a day and get back to pack the boat and get ready for the move back up north to start running out of OC/LA.
I wanted to thank everyone that fished with us this past season in SD and already looking forward to seeing everyone again in July!
We are excited to set our sites on island fishing for the next 6 months over at Catalina & San Clemente Islands.
Here is to a FANTASTIC seabass season…….!
