We had a 3/4 day charter on Saturday in search of some taco meat for the upcoming Mothers Day celebrations.
We kicked off at 0700 with a lil wind and cool temps than days prior, but NOAA had kicked the forecast down to 10 knots later in the day.
Tanked up on a scoop of beautiful anchovies and a scoop of cured dines from LBBC and were off to check out some new area to see if we might be able to search out a school of cuda that have showed up on our local coast.
These fish have showed in pretty good #’s just to the north of us, but wanted to give it a shot a lil closer to home.
After a look around and not a bird in site, it was time to put our heads down and get to work.
Wind backed off and after a few stops on a few stones we finally found a good looking area that wanted to bite for us.
The day turned out to be one of the more pleasent days this season for us on the water and fishing was pretty damn good to go along with all that nice weather.
We filled the kill bag with some nice quality reds and such for everyones Mothers Day shindigs.
Thanks again guys for fishing with Seasons Sportfishing.
